Well, I did it. 100.67 miles in just a minute of 6 hours. My knees and shoulders were complaining toward the end, and for 20 minutes after the ride my thighs were in pretty intense pain, but that subsided. The temperature was about 62 or so, so I didn’t think about the sun – and now I have cherry-tomato nose and my lips burn.

It was a great experience up and down the Connecticut shoreline along with a couple friends from church – encouraging along the way. Now, on to recovery, and plan the next one…

I made it!
