Paul, you are already missed. I think I can carry on your legacy of loving eating though…!
Eric – An awesome video and a wonderful tribute to a truly ebullient, one-of-a kind, tour de force…our devoted friend, Paul Cormier. He will continue to loom large in our hearts and in our fondest memories.
While I wasn’t around to share in the past ten years of Paul’s life, it is great to be able to share in it through photographs. Paul was a very special man: quick with a smile, fun and always able to make a person feel at ease. I always thought of him as larger than life… He really knew how to LIVE life, not just go through the motions. We can all learn from his example! I am grateful to have known him.
This is a great tribute to Paul and his family. It captures Paul in all his strengths, as a husband, father, friend, and also as a son. We will miss his smile and the way he loved people. He is with his God and joins Barry and Joye watching over us.
Paul you will be missed for a very long time and you will continue to live on in our hearts.. We miss you!
Eric great job on the video. Paul is a pillar of the Church!!! Roz, the life of Paul is a story of neverending truth and perseverance, trust and faithfulness in JESUS. I’m convicted,Pauls heart reflects what God can produce in all of us as long as we have faith and trust in HIM. I would love to see Pauls story of courage and faith on big screen in Hollywood for the world to see,let me know if this would be considered…I have a great contact at Universal.
To God be the Glory!!!
Thank You Eric for all your hard work and most of all the heart of God’s love you displayed by putting this beautiful tribute together. My eyes fill with tears and my heart aches when I look at Paul’s face and remember how much we shared with him for the last 13 years. He is one of my biggest inspirations. An example of LOVE, FORGIVENESS, PERSEVERANCE, HONESTY, REALNESS, BOLDNESS, CONVICTION, DETERMINATION, COMPASSION, LOYALTY, TRUE FRIENDSHIP, HOSPITALITY, GENEROSITY, PASSION, SENSE OF HUMOR, ACCEPTANCE OF EVERYONE, SINCERE HEART AND FUN, FUN, FUN!!!!!!!!
We will persevere all the more during hard times knowing that our brother, our friend is waiting for us in Heaven and cheering us on everyday while we run the race marked out for us heavenward in Christ Jesus! Let his life and death inspire us to NEVER QUIT and to make it to be able to see and experience where he is in PARADISE! We have all been blessed to experience LOVE and TRUE FRIENDSHIP in this lifetime. It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. Our victory is that we will be seeing him again with GOD, JESUS, and GOD’S ANGELS. Who knows, maybe we will even get to meet our own personal angels that God sends everyday to guide, protect, strengthen, encourage and uphold us, so that we can say thank you in person (or in spirit).
Thank You GOD and JESUS for allowing us to share in your love and promises. We look forward to meeting you and Paul in paradise. Please help us to stay focused and help you bring as many people with us as possible.
All my heart of gratitude and love,
Deanna
I think it is a great idea to put Paul’s story of courage and faith on the big screen! This world needs some GOOD MOVIES to watch.
While Tricia and I sort of breezed in and out of Connecticut and only knew Paul for a brief time, he will forever live in my heart as a gentle, fun-loving giant. (most people are giants next to me, but Paul was particularly so) Memories of his spirit, his grace, his love of life, God and family will be left for us all to cherish and imitate. We love you, Paul.
